Where do I stand?

Where do I stand?

4/20/17

Buenos días chicos 🙂 ¡Espero que estén disfrutando la semana!

Today I would like to address some feedback I recently received.
A student was frustrated because they felt that they were not getting feedback from their teacher and that there was no way to know what to improve upon. Our teachers are constantly correcting in class, but if the connection is not clear, I would recommend that you do one or more of the following:

  • Purchase a 20 class package, which includes a basic written evaluation!
  • Purchase a detailed evaluation for $30 at any time!
  • As you can imagine, we do not like to evaluate students in front of other students in a group class. But please know that you can ask your teacher for feedback at any time. Come in 5 minutes early or stay after class and ask your teacher what your strengths & weaknesses are. Don’t be shy about asking! We would love nothing more than to help you improve!
  • When you are corrected in class there are a few things you can do that will help you improve:
1: Stop when you’re corrected and repeat the correction
    2: Write down the correction
3: Review the corrections at home and look for patterns
4: Write down a few sentences using the correction

If you are in a private class, you can of course ask your teacher at any time!

Besos,
Caro
