Pura Buena Onda’s Spanish Tip of the Week (5/16 – 5/22/16)

A question I often get asked by new students is: How often should I come to classes?
My answer is always the same: Learning a language is very much like exercising. The more often you do it, the faster the results.

So what do you do if you can only squeeze in one class per week?
PBO has designed a program where you can actually practice every single day or at least six days a week.
If you follow all of our suggestions you would:
– come to class once a week
– do the weekly optional homework on another day
– participate in our daily Facebook conversation on the days you haven’t practiced otherwise
– attend monthly social club events
And if you’re interested in coming to class more than once a week, you could sign up for 2+ classes, additional private classes or sign up for the unlimited class package and come several times per week.

Since the results are directly related to how much time you put into it, it’s really up to you how much time you decide to dedicate to Spanish, based on your goals 🙂
Just to give you an idea, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, it takes about 780 hours to become fluent in Spanish. You do the math…
