I’m assuming you answered that once a week is better than nothing.
The same goes for Spanish.
Students often give themselves a really hard time when they only come to class once a week and don’t have much time for Spanish outside of class. It is true that if you want to advance at a decent rate, you do need to put at least 15 minutes into your Spanish a day, do the optional homework, etc., BUT, if you come to class once a week, you are maintaining what you learned and continuing to improve, even if it is a slower rate.
Wouldn’t you say that maintaining & continuing to improve (even if it’s a slower pace than you would like) is better than starting to lose everything you’ve learned? I would say so ☺
This is not a recommendation to slack off. This is simply a reminder that you do not need to feel guilty when life gets a little crazy and you can’t give 100% to your Spanish. You’re here every week…you’re being consistent! Be proud of that.
