Pura Buena Onda’s Spanish Tip of the Week (1/25 – 1/31/16)

Like exercise, learning a language is not something you can do once a week. If you want to make any progress, you really need to put in at least 3 days a week. Obviously the more days you practice, the faster the progress.

The good news is that if you practice daily, for 10-15 minutes, that is enough to make progress at a very reasonable rate.

My recommendation is to stick to 2-3 things and do those for a while. For example:

On Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays, DuoLingo for 15 minutes

On Tuesdays & Thursdays, reading for 15 minutes

On Wednesdays, watching a 30-60 minute tv show

Sundays – off

This is just an example, you can choose any 2-3 things that work for you, appropriate for your level (DuoLingo will NOT help you get to an advanced level).

What is your routine?
