Weekly Tip: Get curious!

Weekly Tip: Get curious!

One of the best things you can do for your language skills is to get curious when you don’t know how to say something in Spanish.

For example, if you’re using a can opener and you don’t know how to say can opener, maybe you could look it up. (It’s abrelatas btw).
Or maybe your teacher uses a word you’re not familiar with, so you ask him/her to explain the meaning.

Learning new things makes us feel good, keeps us interested and helps to keep our minds sharp, among many other benefits. Doesn’t it feel good every time you learn something new?  (Or am I just a nerd?)

PS As I mentioned last week, translators SUCK. I highly recommend using http://www.wordreference.com/ (they have a free app too).
